Some Flowers we Grow at Home
All this pictures are of flowers grown from seeds that I have planted in our farm SantaLuz in Guarne, Antioquia, Colombia
One of my hobbies is to help mother nature reproduce the beauty we find in flowers. From one flower we can obtain hundreds of seeds, and from them myriads of plants from same specie.
I have used manual methods to extract the seeds and select the more vigorous ones, then plant them and see the miracle of growing into little plants and blossom in a few weeks.
Most of the flowers I grow are short lived; and the plant life cycle is no more than 4 months ... from seed to flower to seed again.

Some Birds we Feed daily
Most of this birds come to my home every day, others come only from October to May, and a few live in the national aviary near Cartagena.
The pictures where taken from my bedroom´s window, with a small Nikon Coolpix A900 camera sitting in a tripod ... not a big effort chasing birds around.
The birds expect their food in the early morning. We feed them with special banana called Comino ... and they love it.
